All students and staff in District 181 have access to the CultureGrams database, which may be just what your students need to learn about the world. Written by in-country authors, the World, States, Kids, and Canadian Editions offer much more than maps and statistics.

Students can find photos (downloadable, with citations!), videos, interviews with natives of a country, and even recipes. Use CultureGrams to give context to social studies or language arts activities.

Are you looking for real data for students to graph or analyze? A comparison table tool lets users choose data to compare two locations in the world.

Check out this two-minute CultureGrams demo:

Access CultureGrams through your school library's Atriuum page (CHMS uses ClassJump).
