Outage at CHMS
Early this morning we were notified of an outage at CHMS. Working remotely and on-site we were able to confirm that the core switch for the building has failed. This is the device that connects directly to the District MDF at HMS. Right now we are not sure what caused the outage, though a power outage seems the likely culprit.
We have contacted our Cisco vendor and will have a replacement device by noon today hopefully sooner. Once we have the switch we will work as fast as we can to restore service to the building.
